Spent half the day filling holes in the walls.
Then went on to peeling wall paper off the walls in the Kitchen that may have been there since I don't know may the 50's .( they really wanted it to stay forever) Tomorrow I will finish the job.
Hope to get it all done before November so I can start sewing blankets for my great grandkids.

Finding my way.
We are working on the a Craftman House we rented, someone wanted a crackle look on all the wood, one wall still has a peg board from top to bottom, & the carpets smelled so bad we pulled it up so the next step is stripping the floors and bring the hard wood floors back to life. When I left California for Oklahoma I didn't think I would move to a State that did have my favorite store Winco, the closes one is in Texas .
I am trying to find a store that has everything I used to buy but so far I have not come across that a store. I hope to drive to Tulsa to see what they have.

Times goes by so quickly!
I now have 6 yes six great grandchildren 3 girls 3 boys. I spend A LOT of time making trips to see 4 of them they are only 100 miles away , and 2 are the Midwest. I would love to have them all together at one time.
I have been able to do some traveling Vegas( for Fun),Florida(for Family),Tahoe Ca.(for more Fun) Paradise Ca. (for Family). I spent Christmas Day of 2013 at an airport in Texas wasn't much fun but I finally got back by before Christmas Day was over ( just by an hour). While in Florida I got to see my granddaughters sing in their high school choir , watched my older granddaughter become Miss Heart of Christmas.Went to the Riverside Arts Market the live entertainment was great. I had a great time there.
I am still canning , still sewing for my great grandchildren , baking , cooking & cleaning.
I will be posting the John Deere blankets one was done but I decided to add a little more to it, and a few others things will be done in a few days.
